The purpose of the I.L.P.B. is to make Reformed study aides available which assist and promote the study of Scripture.

The ILPB is a non-profit organization operated by the Men’s, Women’s and Young People’s Bible Study Groups of the American and Canadian Reformed Churches.

The ILPB accomplishes its stated purpose by:

Commissioning and/or translating, editing, and publishing study aides written by members of the Canadian Reformed Churches or of churches with which it maintains ecclesiastical fellowship; distributing and promoting the material it publishes through various congregational representatives; and scrutinizing and recommending study aides already available.

All literature recommended and published by the ILPB must be faithful to the infallible Word of God and in accordance with the Three Forms of Unity, namely: The Belgic Confession, the Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dort.
